I would haven taken 3rd at Christmas at the start of the season. Not been to that many games so far this season but seeing the reports and reviews on the forum are we in a lucky position? But then after 22 Games can it be called luck. There have been some negativity with regards tactics and team selections in certain games so if JE can get these right can we maintain this position until the end of the season?

Also apart from keeping Dack what other changes do people want to see in January?

Hoping to make more games in the second half of the season starting with Wigan away, so Merry Christmas to all and bring on the Christmas Fixtures!!!!

    Happy Christmas to all.

    LeedsGill,
at the start of the season, 3rd place was beyond my wildest expectation, however our form has slowly tailed off as the season has progressed.

    1st 7 game run...............17 points.
    2nd 7 game run..............13 points.
    3rd 7 game run...............8 points.

Just in case you weren't one of the 1607 Gills fans at The Den

    http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...s/gillingham/10105374/millwall-0-3-gillingham

The video doesn't do justice to the dominance of the Gills. We really should have scored more - and if I had to be slightly critical - in the second half we were over elaborate in our play - and not getting 'shots away.'
For those who didn't go to the game - it was a mirror image of the Burton match - and with the dismissal coming at similar times in both games - this was a big factor in determining the outcome. We even got a lot of decisions from the referee - although I thought that the card for Samuel was harsh - he clearly was 'challenged' by two Millwall players in very quick succession, and it's not surprising that he 'fell' to the ground.
