By the sounds of things I didn't miss much, knew I should have gone with the 1-1 prediction........Play offs are looking like the only way we'll be promted this season..... Anyway in the 3pm ko's Leicester are 1 up at home to Charlton, Yeovil are 1 up at Reading, and Bolton, Bournemouth and Watford all lead 1-0. Burnley - Derby and Forest - Wigan goalless at the moment....
Thats typical, wed want forest to win that one, Wigan were 7th. Reading losing at home to yeovil, surely that won't last?
Goals everywhere except for the Weds v Boro game... Bolton 2 Blackburn 0 Bournemouth 2 Donny 0 Burnley 1 Derby 0 Hudds 2 Barnsley 0 Ipswich 1 Brum 0 Leicester 1 Charlton 0 Wall 0 Brighton 1 Forest 0 Wigan 1 Reading 0 Yeovil 1 Watford 3 Blackpool 0
Burnley are jammy bastards. Advantage should've been played after the foul on martin- and the ensuing goal should've stood. At worst, he should've got a penalty. Instead he received a 2nd yellow for diving...
Oh Derby, Martin 2nd yellow > red for a dive, then they score, waived off. Do we just concede 2nd auto-promo spot to Burnley, and just try to keep Derby at bay for a playoff spot? Given Wigan have a game in hand on Forest, a draw there would likely suit us best, currently 0-1 Wigan. Would also be nice if the yokels of Yeovil can hang on at Reading to their 1-0 lead (not hopeful) to keep them in their place. A draw would also suit us. On the bright side, at least compared to our 2010-11 promotion season, we took 4/6 points off massive Leeds this season!
I conceded that weeks ago, were 9 points off 2nd and only 7 off 7th, 5 points if reading beat yeovil.
