According to the Reading OS, we have sold 3300 tickets already for this weekend's game at the Madejski. We have another 700 still to sell but are confident of doing this. 4000 pompey fans this Saturday, with the home tickets also selling like hot cakes, will surely make it an insane atmosphere!! This is surely the most anticipated game of the season so far given the potential consequences should other results go our way, and I cannot wait for 3pm on Saturday. PUP
Looks like the city of Reading, and their stadium is going to be ours on Saturday. As long as were standing up all game and we don't sing the instrumental of the fernando torres song all game, we have some variety in our songs, it's set to be a blow the roof off atmosphere. PLAY UP POMPEY P.S everyone bring inflatables.
With only a handful of games left this season there is a lot at stake. I for one love the fact that I'm not nervous, just excited. Looking back at the dismal start to the season I still can't get my head around the fact that the playoffs might just be more than a dream. PUP
3300 tickets sold already! That is indeed a good number, being around the number we sent to Charlton on a tuesday recently. I hope you have a good day out, and the atmosphere is excellent. 3300 eh? Who would have thought that Pompey fans are good at Reading?
Latest figures stands at 3800 sold, so only 200 to go in the next 2 or 3 days. I cant wait for this game!!
Sounds like it should be a great atmosphere. By the way, should you not recognise Reading's shirt sponsor, "Waitrose" is an upmarket supermarket chain.
Waitrose - upmarket? Maybe in the slum that you live in, everyone from Pompey has hampers sent from F&M dont you know?
Leigh Park Gardens, along with Wecock Country Estate are fine suburbs of Portsmouth where the city folk have their out of town weekend retreats. Most have F&M accounts, yachts and ski in val d'isere. Is it not the same further west up the M27? I have heard old fables that you are all yokel types with funny accents, live in huts, dig ditches and marry horses, but that cant be true can it?
Just because my wife is called Mrs Fodder, I think you have the wrong idea about those who come from Southampton. Still, they do say travel broadens the mind. Have you any plans to leave the Island?
Going to Barcelona this weekend, then Ipswich for a couple of months does that count? (I've also lived in Sweden, Florida and good ol' Tennessee).
