It was Saturday the 30th April 2005 & Saints were in turmoil having had four managers in just over a year. The Saints were desperate to gain a win that would help stave off relegation;the visitors were Norwich. In a pulsating game, which saw both teams hold the lead, Henri Camara's long range strike just before time gave the home side an amazing victory.
Whilst the result did not save the Saints from relegation I still vividly remember the game & Camara's late strike. This was the last game that Southampton won & took three points in the Premier League, after six & a half years could the wait be fiinally over & then we can reflect on six seasons of highs & lows that bridged our top flight exile.
