1. The obvious one (but most important of all!) that all horses and jockeys return home safely 2. I don't forget my tickets when I leave the house for the week very early in the morning 3. Don Poli wins The Gold Cup (as I've bored everybody rigid that he will ever since last year's RSA!) Enjoy the week all!
1) a win for Sprinter Sacre (probably not likely!) 2) I dont lose too much money! 3) Victoria Pendleton does not overshadow Gold Cup day too much....
1) The New One to get his just reward and win a Champion Hurdle 2) Barters Hill to bring home the bacon for Ben Pauling (the racing equivalent of Leicester winning the Premier League) 3) Min to kick Rich Ricci in the knackers and the yank twat has to spend the whole of Cheltenham in hospital.
1.The toilets don't get blocked. 2.The security staff are vigilant and robust in keeping the "Tatts" riff raff a safe distance away from Club and Members areas. 3.Come dusk, there are lots of inebriated ladies requiring the assistance of a gentleman to escort them safely back to their lodgings. Oh,and I echo and concur with the usual trite nonsense that has been posted thus far.
Three wishes come true: 1. No alcohol all week. 2. Heart murmurs during FC Bayern's last minute equaliser and extra time victory over Juventus (bonus draw in quarter finals). 3. Erste, zweiter und dritter!!!!!!!! Start considering next year's picks!
I got all 3 wishes! 1. Sprinter Sacre's win not just highlight of the week but probably of the sporting year! 2. Despite my terrible tipping on here this week I had one of my most profitable festivals ever! 3. Really impressed with Victoria today. Rode superbly up the Cheltenham hill.
Nothing against Victoria Pendelton, but to much fuss was made of the whole thing if you ask me. All the cameras where on her rather than the winner.
Yeah was really sad all the casualtys, and it just gives the anti racing brigade even more ammunition to throw our way. I think they need to do something about the fence at the top of the hill, as so many horses where making mistakes there. Maybe they could water the track more aswell, I know a lot of horses like the good ground in the spring, but it makes things more dangerous for them.
