It's not that hard to be the first defender when taking a corner. Think of what TV brought to the table on the free kick front.
(iii) A resounding pre match song played over PA system, to get crowd rocking. Singing the blues?

it won't help get points but hot water in the gents' sinks would be nice!

I miss the good old days when everyone was miserable as sin taking their turn to tell us how this was the poorest team they'd ever seen and how we would plummet in to oblivion. What if? New manager bounces (nice to lose our virginity in that regard after so many attempts) do come to an end at some point. Didn't I read earlier that it was important to win on Wednesday against Plymouth because we'd lose to Wednesday on Saturday? Now that's more like it. The doom and gloom I'm used to.
