So then as we step into October and the season of ‘mists and mellow fruitfulness’ what are the great brains on the forum’s predictions for the 2013/14 NH season??? My top 3 are:

    (i) Long Run will secure a hat-trick of victories in the ‘King George VI’ on St Stephen’s Day. Then given the popularity of his connections scenes of jubilation and delight, the likes of which have never before been witnessed on a racetrack, will take place,

(ii) West Wizard will win a Grade 1 Novice Hurdle, and

(iii) Mr Henderson will be Knighted.

So then, is anyone else prepared to gaze into their crystal ball and offer a trio of forecasts for this term???

1 - Hendo will employ the same vet as MAZ
2 - The Winter will be a long cold one. Racing will be off for most of December. Mail will call it The Little Ice Age.
3 - McCoy will win championship but will be annoyed by Ruby and Barry G winning all big races at the festival.

    1. John Ferguson will introduce lots of well-bred newcomers who can't jump a hurdle to save their lives.
    2. Alan King's Invictus will win the Hennessey Gold Cup en route to a stirring triumph in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
    3. Big Buck's will romp away with his 5th World Hurdle.

The ‘Daily Mail’ do like their weather stories! It’s a pretty good bet that on any given day their front page will be given over to some story about either the weather, immigration or Diana, Princess of Wales. A combination of the 3 and I’m sure that the Editor and his readers are in a state of delirium.
