No I'm not banking on 3 Pools pints but 3 points against them! With Pompey at home, most of you will be at the game so I hope you will have your iphones at the ready to keep the rest of us up to date. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31070875

We're going 3-5-2 again this match, and it looks as though Hartlepool are using the same system. Jed and Dan Butler on the wings.
Full Time 1-0. 3 valuable points. Will be interesting to hear from those who were at the game when they get home.
Well, a win is obviously good but at home against bottom of the league who are terrible away from home, it's really the minimum to be expected. We also only scored 1 goal again, and only had 3 shots on target in the entire game. Again, nothing to write home about. I don't think this is a start of bigger and better things. Maybe it'll help us to stay up, but it's certainly not going to aid us in towards anything more than scraping 19th or whatever. I'd like to think we'd have bigger ambitions than that.

A nice header at the Fratton End from Matt Tubbs, from a decent cross from the hard working Ryan Taylor - my man of the match based on his non stop effort. Could have had more goals, Jed Wallace had a superb free kick saved by their keeper, and late on, Danny Hollands had a fierce shot just over the crossbar. Like the look of young Josh Passley playing at right wingback. He is skillful, with terrific pace. Dan Butler's corners are much of an improvement on Craig Westcarr's previous efforts. Sure, Hartlepool are a poor team, but don't forget they beat Plymouth 3-2 last weekend. Lapras may be right, this may or may not kick start our season, but the atmosphere was far better, and it sure is nice to get 3 points at last ! Onwards and upwards. PUP
