Interesting feeling.... A shocking performance and still coming away with 3 points.... McCarthy,Snoddy and Sam....probably the pick... Nunez gave us a spark when he came on... Still look poor at the back... its that feeling of horror every time a team pumps on into our box or run at our defence... But 3 points and 4th for now!
As Larry said we've played much better and lost and I'll take 3 points and a crap performance every week.
It was a shambles of a display, they could have been 2-3 goals up quite easily but agree with other comments, 3 points and shoddy display over a good display and nothing.
Yes 3 points is great any time especially after such an inept performance but some of us look at the bigger picture. Why were we so poor? Why were we devoid of any inspiration? Why after having a two week break did we look so flat? It reminds me over a relationship I was once in where deep down we both knew it wasn't working and if we ever went a whole week without arguing things would seem all hunky dory before the inevitable rows would start again. An argument free week would simply be papering over the cracks,& that's how today's victory feels. Until we start winning games with aplomb,contolling games from the start,I'm afraid the Grayson/Leeds United relationship is doomed to fail.
We played loads better at West Ham and at home to Cardiff and only managed a point from each of them. I'll take all three playing like that any day.
just got out of hospital this morn--looked forward to game---i nearly another bad turn again at that performance---but hey we came through---feel a lot better
