Well according to something I heard on the view from the nin podcast last week was that Cardiff have NEVER won their 3 opening league games.

Now I am unsure if this is absolutely spot on. But if it is, and seeing how i've now jinxed us.. Anybody think Malky's tartan army can make history tonight?

I unfortunately think draw is on the cards.. (I know I know, not being optimism prime this week!) But a draw will not be a disaster.. it would maybe continue to keep some of our supporters grounded, letting the brilliant atmosphere round the place carry on for a few more weeks.

Anybody want to say hello tonight, i'll be in aisle 116 of the Ninian Row F on the end.

Cheers and enjoy the footy, if Sunday is anything to go by, I know I will!

    Bluebirds!

Well, that's you lot in trouble tonight then!

Would prefer you guys won tonight although I have you down for a 1-1 draw in the Not 606 "I know the Score" (or not, as it is more often than not the case <laugh>)

    Come on you Bluebirds <ok>

It also states that brighton havent won thier first 3 league games since the early 50's when in div 3 south. So something will give tonight and i think we be able to put the 93 year stat safely in the re-cycling bin.

Cant see us losing if we apply ourselves as we did Saturday ,we just need to continue the momentum and i am sure in all honesty Brighton are not expecting an easy game.
I believe we need to eradicate the inconsistencies of last season........ the Barnsley, Ipswich,Norwich games and a few more howlers that we are all aware of which ultimately in my humble opinion cost us promotion ,we need to not play amazing one game then piss poor the next continuity is going to be among the main needs this season if we want to achieve any degree of success .

Anyone else finding it weird not knowing what the capability of our team is? Especially after the past few seasons.

You thumped us 3-1 in Cardiff (ok, albeit in a mad game where either side could have won) and escaped with a draw at Carrow Road - not a bad record <ok>

Thai canary - unfortunately results like that were also combined with things like a 3-0 reverse at Brizzle City :emoticon-0120-doh: How we let them get one over on us I don't know but I honestly believe there were times last year when our under 12's would have given us a good game!

Arwr - I know what you mean mate, it all feels abit surreal and a step into the light after years of having nothing but a candle to see by

Of course, I was always a big fan of Jonesy and everything he did for us and had we not dispensed with his services this year I wopuldn't have been too downbeat, however it does feel like whole new era has begun and there is more of a spring in our step since Malkay arrived.
I guess we'd become like an old married couple with Jonesy, you still have some love but the excitement had gone....

Now we've jumped into bed with a younger model who has more energy and likes a bit of adventure we all feel that bit more sprightly

I'm just hoping radio wales cover the game. Already missed the Brizzle game due to their new policy. :steam:

    I've got us down as a 2-1 win. :emoticon-0107-sweat

We knew what we had the past few seasons and this thrown together side is a mystery to me.

We lose this Gunnarson and then young Mason comes on and plays a blinder.

Miller scores in one game then Earnie in the next.

Full backs bursting forward, control in midfield, defence defending now wonder we don`t know the team too well.
