No-one likes being beaten by a minnow, at home, but life goes on, beaten by the better side. Glad you're enjoying your giant killing experience
Just a point but a giant killing doesnt normally occur when the 'killers' are playing a 'giant' who are not only below them in the league at the time but who were recently promoted to that league the same year that the 'killers' were relegated to it.
I know **** me will they ever shut up about it, beating possibly one of the worst Leeds Teams ever and they are all walking round with semis on n shagging their sisters!
If you had been around before the match you would have seen the majority of fans were expecting a defeat. We are a mid table team at best at the present moment in time, any team that loses to us HASN'T got a chance of promotion as we are poor. However enjoy your time along with others who come by and gloat because this isn't hot air - One day in the not too distant future we will have new owners, it doesn't have to be a billionaire, just someone who invests an average percentage of the turnover back into the team. When that happens we know we shall be back enjoying premier league football. In answer to how do we feel, myself personally not too bad thanks, but if as I suspect you mean in regards to the defeat to Hull I feel exactly the same as I did three days prior to it Just for the record I am expecting a point if we are slightly fortunate against Forest but could easily be another defeat, anything more and it will be considered an almighty bonus. Leeds fans have more important issues than our next game or last game at the moment.
The result was not about Hull, it was about Leeds. I realise this may hurt your feelings, but - really and truly - the fact we lost to Hull is of close to zero importance to most of us. What matters to us is how useless we are, and all the reasons behind that fact. For Hull, read any team in the top half of the table. And coming on here posting this, does sound a bit like someone who just won his cup final. Sorry about that
I would agree with that to be honest. Three years ago we were picking up maximum points at Arsenal and we shouldnt be getting excited about this latest win.
What? You're going on about how we're getting excited about beating 'the worst Leeds team ever' and I'm agreeing with you. ****ting crikey.
1 win at Elland rd in 25yrs,this is the highlight of a dull fans life all down hill from here. maybe we should make them a we won a game trophy. 2-3 years from now they will be telling Halifax or Accrington fans about their win at Leeds.
Very good. It's Friday afternoon and the weekend is here and another home game tomorrow. We've moved on since Tuesday. It's history now but if you want to talk about history........
yer its hard to comprehend that some of our darkest years are as good as it gets for hull and that in the next few years,we will be back in the prem while hull will head back to the fourth tier and 5-6000 crowds..
Keep thinking that. The more you call us a small club surely the more embarassing it is that you were outplayed and outsung for 90 minutes? Live long and prosper Kenneth.
