So they say Watford will be playing it, Decent article about it https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...has-3-5-2-worked-at-euro-2016-jonathan-wilson Not long to start of the season now, just wish the kit wasnt so shttyhipster.
I don't care what system we play as long as it works and is exciting to watch. And if it's not working in any particular match, we have an alternative to switch to, and all our players are familiar with it.
Adapting to th ematch is key. Beppe and Flores struggled to change during games whilst Joka was much more adept in sustituting and adapting when he needed to
Who's to say any of those three will still be with us though.. Although Holebas sounds up for the challenge. http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/07/jose-holebas-returns-to-training-seeking-fresh-watford-start/?
True - Holebas is a decent player if we can get him to play. I guess its now or never for Anya but wing back might suit him with that pace. Nyom would worry me - certainly tailed off at the end of the season and was caught out a few times.
Reading some of the WD sport stuff... it appears there was perhaps much more disenchantment in the last few weeks than we knew..... QSF may have lost the team as a whole and perhaps performances dipped.
Probably just knackered? He spent so much time going up and down the line (for quite a big bloke too) in the first half of the season usually with no help it wouldn't surprise me.
Do you think so? I honestly have no idea. He greatly impressed me till around Christmas (ish) with his skill, yes, he could strip a ball of wingers rather than tackle the ball out of play and so they would get a throw in, but I was impressed by his balance, his awareness of others, so much. Suddenly he started playing others onside, giving away the ball, all sorts. As I said, I'm mystified. If it was tiredness, fair enough. I've not seen someone slump like that very often and when they have there's normally some plausible reason.
