I think you mean Morecambe don't you. Thats what Barnsley, Wolves, Preston, Coventry thought until we turned them over.
if you lot can kick the crap out of forest on saturday it will do us a favour we have got them in the cup
Curtis, no disrespect meant im sure but it would take something fairly special for us not to be in round 3 as im sure you would agree. Will you be coming to the den?
You are a good team but anybody is beatable in the tinpot cup, so anything is possible if Jim & our boys are up for it. I don't expect us to beat you but we are capable of giving you a good match unless the intimidating crowd at the Den gets to the players, then we could lose heavily. I may come if I have some body armour & a water cannon spare. I am not so sure with all the reports about trouble at the old Den in the past. I am sure the percentage of you are a good bunch. I've met a few of you in the past & were a good bunch when playing Preston so let's hope it's a peaceful night whether we win or lose.
I can assure you a pleasent time at the Den. Dont belive the hype, you have to experience the Den at least once as a football fan. Just dont riot or loot and we wont have to police ya!!
Would be great to make it to round 3 as it would mean a near definite draw against some of the bigger teams, but we have to take it one game at a time (no need to tell you all that, i am sure). We have some really hard league games in Forest, Posh and Southampton before we meet Morcambe. Curtis, you have to come to The Den to really make any judgement on it. The old Den and the New Den are worlds apart in comparison to eachother. Plus, there will be a minimal crowd as it will be a mid-week game where fans will have to fork out yet another 10-15 quid a pop, plus there wont be the mandatory 7K season ticket holders. And, no disrespect, it is only Morcambe.
Morning all Curtis, Don't bring your new born if you have one mate as we eat babies as well didn't you know! All this bollocks about visiting the Den, why don't people simply visit once to form an opinion and go in the home section of the crowd if they want to 'feel' safer rather than believe what they want to believe or what the papers say **** I forgot as it must be the endless reports of dead bodies being dragged from the Den! How ****ing pathetic does it sound when people say they have reservations about coming to the Den because of our reputation without actually experiencing it for themselves first in the flesh!
its a good ground and has a good atmosphere he will miss out if he doesnt go.part of being a football fan is the experience of going to different grounds and taking in the atmosphere and all that goes with it.i am gutted we never drew the wall away as i was looking forward to going back there
Exactly Steve as Curtis will obviously never visit the Den for a league game so he should take the opportunity now or miss out which will be his loss.
The Den is no different to most other grounds, they are a lovely crowd. Just don't take the piss there.
