    As we came 2nd is there any chance we are in the first pot seed for champions league?

    No. Pot 1 contains the title holders and the champions of the top seven associations

    It does mean there are some weaker teams seeded 1, so fingers crossed you avoid Barca until the first knockout round as usual.

    Real or Atletico
    Barca
    Bayern
    PSG
    Juve
    Benfica
    CSKA Moscow
    Leics (can't draw)

    Arsenal will be in Pot2

    Im not sure what the point of having the draw is, we know we'll be drawn with Barca or Bayern so we may as well make the draw now...

    And then go out to the one not in your group in the last 16.

    It's "rinse and repeat" for Arsenal in the CL to be honest.

    It's like a BBC 2 repeat every fricking year - besides the year we didn't draw a favourite or eventual finalist and instead drew Monaco, and instead decided to **** things up in a whole new and interesting way...

    Even under the old rules, Arsenal wouldn't off been in POT1 this time.

    CSKA and Leics would of been replaced by Atletico and Dortmund.

    Leics have really benefited from the change, getting POT1 instead of 4.
    Fair play, winning titles should be rewarded. The new system is much fairer imo.
