This series is building into a cracker. After the first ODI run fest by England and a resounding win the 2nd ODI is bubbling up nicely. NZ scored 398 in their 50 overs and England are currently 77-0 of 11 overs, keeping up nicely with the required run rate.

This series could go down as one of the all time classics.....

When you post 400 or so, the pressure on the chasing side is immense.

Once Morgan went, so did England's chances - I think - although I like the look of Rashid

Not over yet. If these two stay together, England should win. Big if though.

This is bollocks. They're going to come back needing 34 off 13 deliveries. Why should it take so long to get restarted?

Why did we need ****upworth Lewis with only 6 overs left?

Another fantastic match. Cricket is a completely different game now to the one I used to watch as a kid. Brilliant entertainment.

England have suddenly woken up and realised that being 200-3 after 40 overs and having a dart for 10 overs is no good. You need to be ready to hit hard from ball one. They won't always have good batting wickets, but even when the bowlers are in the game you need to take risks. England bat deep; we can afford to lose wickets knowing that the likes of Buttler and Rashid can score quickly over a sustained period (as they did the other day) and Plunkett can smash it out of the ground.

4th match and England are absolutely smashing the kiwis all over Trent Bridge chasing 350 to win.
Unthinkable a few weeks ago. Amazing turn around in approach from England.
238 for 2 off 30 overs. Devastating stuff!

They used to say you could double the thirty-over score with wickets in hand!

The batting in this series has been sensational - looks like it will go to a decider.

What a knock from Morgan - a hundred off 73 balls. Captain's innings.

    Now 304 for 2.
It's hard to believe that England were so bad in the world cup.
I'm actually looking forward to the ashes now. I know test cricket is a separate thing but England will be full of confidence.

I reckon Morgan has done his chances no harm at all with his displays & must be in the selectors thoughts for the tests.
