Gives you a bit of confidence and cheers you up a bit, but I think it adds a lot of pressure at the same time :/ Lets hope we can live up to the bets and get back the championship first time of asking!

They put the teams upside down!
Wolves and City are their favourites to go down while Stevenage are going up

The worst thing we can be in L1 is complacent and expect to stroll to wins home and away, we are going to have to scrap for points. Most teams there will want to beat us because we've come down from a higher level.

We need to hit the ground running from the first game of the season, so I hope SOD is much better at pre season preparation and getting a competitive team together during the Summer than his recent predecessors.......

It all depends on what funds are provided to SOD. If we don't invest adequately we'll be in mid-table by this time next season. If SOD is provided adequate funds then I reckon we'll be in the playoff places, but no higher than that.

Given our previous record, I think SOD will get finding for 2-3 good players, and will have to piece together a team from the academy, so if I were to bet on my own team I'd probably go mid-table. My biggest fear is that SOD will rebuild, and that we'll sack him if we're not fighting for the title, leading us back to square one.

12 months ago Wolves were favourites to Win the Championship and they got relegated. At this stage clubs are judged on their current squad which for us we hopefully shold see a lot of changes between now and the end of next season but I think we may have a stronger team next season than what we have now as there is too much deadwood but to get out of League one we need a goal scorer that will hit close to 30 goals a season which we dont have at the moment as Stead scoring 5 goals a season isnt going to cut it.

We need to be stronger at the back, more creative in the middle and more accurate/lethal up front. the good news is that watching the youngsters play there is potential there which hopefully over the next few years we will see more of them as dont get over excited as I have my doubts if we will go straight back up next season as there will be players like Fontaine who will still be at the club but he is out of contract next season so it might take 12 months to get rid of the old and get new players in and knowing football there might be a management change between now and then.

To be fair, Wolves went down because of their severe mismanagement. They sacked a great manager in Mick McCarthy, left an assistant to watch his team get relegated, and after hiring a competent manager in Stale Solbakken they hired him at the first sight of trouble and repeated until relegation (and fired again). They'll need a solid manager, or I reckon it could be three in a row.

They are similar to us in that a poor board has brought them down. If anything, they are a reminder to us that the board are still accountable for our failures, and unless things change we'll go down again.

The board is 100% accountable for the failures, employing a rookie when Sod wanted the job last time out, crazy situation by our incompetent board.

100% agree redrobin and unless theyntake a serious look in their mirrors we could be in trouble again next season. Wake up and see the signs, boys up there in the ivory tower.

It was always going to happen but in fairness, the bookies were spot on last year and under SoD, I hope that they are again this time...

The odds for next season are at the moment based on a few factors.

Strength of squad AT the moment
Clubs wealth regardless of FFP they know Lansdown could off a player low income with a good bonus at the end of the season.
Clubs attendance and ability to pull more if on a good run.

So at the moment they are offering crap odds on the factors above and more, to protect themselves.

These odds will change when players leave and players brought into the club. If we do rely on youth then they will go out.
