So, we're meant to have a thread to discuss Heysel but aren't allowed to discuss the cause?

    Is that right?

This will no doubt go very well indeed.

The scousers did there best to ignore the anniversary, but it took a Hull supporter to post an article on they're board. The scousers are now questioning the intention of the article, and removing various comments it seems.

This is one of the main reasons why I hate Liverpool as a club, they truly are an embarrassment. Offended by everything, but ashamed of nothing.

    Justice for the 39!

It is very easy of supporters of other clubs to take the moral high ground when it comes to Heysel.I went to the ECWC final at Heysel in 1980 when Arsenal played Valencia, the violence that night was terrible but luckily a wall didn't collapse and consequently nobody was killed.People say because of Heysel,English clubs were banned from Europe conveniently forgetting their own fans behaviour over the years.I remember Man Utd playing a European game in Plymouth and the reason why.As the saying goes "Let him without sin cast the first stone"

You utter ****ing cock. Were you there? No. Well I ****ing was. Don't make offensive comments on something you know **** all about. The tragedy is remembered every year by the club and its supporters.

The ban was handed out 4 days after the disaster, because of what Liverpool fans did. I remember seeing all the low life's from Liverpool before the disaster with flags that read Munich 58 on them. Which just further proves the type of scum that was in the crowd that day.

People died because a wall collapsed,Heysel was a decrepit dump that should never have held a European final. There were very few fans worse than Man Utd during the worst days of hooliganism. There was a reason why part of the Stretford End used to be cordoned off,why Old Trafford was once closed and you had to play a home game at Anfield, why you were banned from attending away games

  10. John Smith (Liverpool chairman) requested a change of venue beforehand highlighting the state of Heysel too <ok>

39 people didn't die whilst trying to escape from hooligans from our club though. Uefa clearly didn't see it as an accident, nor did the prime minister who said Liverpool supporters brought shame and dishonour to British football.

Margaret Thatcher implemented the voluntary ban on all English clubs before Uefa made their ruling, you weren't even born in 1985 as proved by you knowing **** all about Utd's players from the 80's on another thread last week.

It could just have easily happened in a game involving Man Utd,Arsenal or any other English club. The hooliganism that night involved both sets of fans and UEFA also have to take some blame for putting opposing fans on the same terrace.

She did, but Uefa still had there ruling after, and banned us regardless of Maggie Thatcher.

    I knew it would.

Ridiculous to even start it. Consider it finished.
