... not surprising ... and if we reach the Prem (still an if) ... should definitely consider expanding capacity ...

Forest only got 24k against their top-of-the-league local rivals. And after restricting us to 2k seats too.

"If" we go up. lets stay there and consolidate for a season or two before even considering to extend. Last thing we need is to be back in the championship with a 45,000 capacity being filled with 18,000. ouch

I think we all would like to see it go 45,000 but it just ain´t going to happen any time soon. As said IF we do go up we just need to build a team more than good enough to stay up. That´s the key to LCFC, staying up. I don´t mean for 2 or 3 seasons, I´m talking for a long long time to come, then by all means build. But 1st things 1st, getting up.

I´m warning you all, March is going to be such a nail biting month, But I think you already know that. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

P.s... the block above me... is he sending coded messages to the commies ? :emoticon-0112-wonde

I would say that over the last 10 years you're looking at 23-25k.

These results are skewed with our first season in our new stadium being a promotion campaign and the ground being full pretty much every week, a premier league campaign where we always filled it, a season in League One where a lot of fans couldn't be bothered and about 5 years of absolute **** where we'd avoid relegation rather than miss out on the playoffs.

    Spot on, average is 24k.

I'm surprised that attendances weren't worse from 2008 onwards when lots of people were suffering the effects of the economic crash.
