The day I joined the ranks of 606... Remember it well, got board watching us and the Yanks dropping big bombs on bad guys during a shift in the gulf. Sad really, nearly six years on I'm still here and we are still dropping big bombs on bad guys in the gulf.
I know how it is, you keeping telling yourself how sad you are, I'm not logging today, well just a peek then. Are we in a better safer world than 6 years ago, well the news cheers me up ever night, soldiers dead here, someone murdered there, business going bust, revolt in that country, a few hundred dead there, child gone missing, party political broadcast from them, promising that and how its all their fault. Been a good 6 years.
Just think what has gone on at SAFC in that time. We had Keane, promotion and staying up. Quinn and Drumville and now ES and Quinn gone. We had Spazer and the pie eater and now MON. Just think of the turn over of players we have had to praise and bitch about during that time. We must have gone through a fair few players especially under Keane and Bruce.
I joined 606 at around 2006 too! Brilliant site although the moderation was a bit intense. Could never go back to a site that closes at 11pm again though!
Aye the mods and early closing were crap but the banter was far better in them days. They should bring it back.
