Until the Martin O'Neill era begins in earnest. Sunderland v Blackburn isn't the most attractive of fixtures for the neutral but when we look back in a few years time, I think this will be one of the pivotal moments in our history. We simply have to win the game, stop the rot and get the Mon regime up and away. I'm looking forward to seeing his first team and maybe a good look at young Ryan Noble as well. I haven't had this much of a buzz about going to the match for a long, long time. If his appointment has had this effect on me then I can only begin to imagine what effect he has had on the players. MoN red & white army.
Not going to be at the match but looking forward with anticipation will watch it in the pub with a few sherberts. C'mon O'Neil's red and white army. HA'WAY THE LADS.
Leave off the little fella, this forum is the only form of human contact he has, (unless you count the special care nurses feeding him through the narrow slot in his cell door, which we don't.)
Looking forward big style to tomorrow. Will be singing my heart out as norm. Anybody know how the ticket sales have gone. Was expecting about an extra 6-7,000 but after Wolves game this may have changed a few minds.
Its a long time since I have been as "up" for a game as this, its a must win so his first team selection and team talk will be crucial.
I'm really well and truly pissed off at not being able to get to this game tomorrow due to being on the other side of the world, never mind, at least my mate is using my season ticket. I reckon tomorrow will be one of those games where you bump into people that you haven't seen for years, they'll be coming out of the wood, just hope we get a decent result for everyone's sake. I know you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear but I still think that we have the basis of a reasonable team that can only get better, wonder if Brucie will be in the crowd, somehow I doubt it, but I'll bet he's watching it in a pub somewhere.
Here, here, mate. I'm at work in Nigeria and it's televised here but i can't get near a TV, bastards, sick as ****.
first day at my new job tomorrow. Considering hoying a sicky in and going to the match. It's killing me not being able to go. Ha'way the lads!
I was wondering that, anyone with nowt to do fancy going onto the online booking service and counting how many seats are left?
No nightshift this weekend, so I will be out bright and early for a few pre-match beers to lubricate my larynx....Here's hoping for a great start to this new chapter in the history of SAFC...
Nope don't think so it's on sky and I'm up in Glasgow if I was down the N.E I'd be there plus I'm just out of hospital or I would have tried to come down.
Not going to comment on whether your statement is actually factual. But will comment on the fact you are so obsessed with all things SAFC, that you actually took the time to research that little nugget. Well done.
