Not kids, men! Getting rid of Bramble, Killa, Bardsley and Rose (maybe Mangane as well) takes us down to about 16/17 experienced guys. Seems to me the best we can hope for is 4/5 Bosmans and 3/4 money signings. Layer on a few promising youngsters who might make the grade in a couple of years. That presumes we stick with Brown and Catts who both have had bad injuries (add in Catts disciplinary record) and the rest of the current squad who have not covered themselves collectively in glory. This is quite a tall order to get that number in and have them hit the ground running and gelling as a team. I imagine we will still be seeing quite a lot of those players who will remain from this years squad. We'd better hope that PDC and the Board put in the work this summer to get the signings and that they bring about an immediate improvement to the first 11. I still think we will need our remaining players from this seasons squad to improve their consistency if we are to avoid another mediocre season.
Roberge, Hadji-ba and Diakhite more or less look done… Very curious as to who any potential money signings will be however…imagine we will be linked with half of Serie A… could do with a playmaker though, to help Sess with the creating of chances
