An old friend of mine’s an OFSTED inspector, personally I don’t know what kind of job he or the organisation does but there’s surely a need for it. The day corporal punishment was banned in schools is the day that behaviour standards will have started to drop, even the thought of it would have kept many on the straight and narrow.

A need for what? Overpaid 'checkers'

Anyone said, From Tulsa yet?

Dearest Ehab

I had to write to say “you’re a ****”, like your Dad.

Cause something happened to you, it turned your head to a dome ... & you have no hair left to comb

Oh you were only 24 hours from leaving

Ah only ... one day away from our Club

We saw a welcoming light ... that was just a big pile of ****e.

You ****s

Love SCB

We have been graded outstanding for our behaviour management, we have 500 pupils at our school and not a single one is disrespectful to a staff member. If you have to shout or lash out at a child through violence, you have already lost whatever point you were trying to make.

It's all about psychology and understanding the needs of the child. It doesn't need hitting. It needs understanding.

I wish someone had told that to Mr. Johnson at North Ferriby Juniors many years ago when he whacked me with the nearest Green Flash in front of the whole class. Inspirational it was.....!

-> 24 hours .... Could we stop with that now? It's worn more than a bit thin.

They can stop as soon as they want.
Nobody tells us how to write our posts on message boards. No-one.
I'll keep doing what's morally right .... for me.
I'm not stopping. I never go back on my word. Ever.
Posting on here should be as free as the air we breathe (or should it be £5).
This message board is a gift to the community. I know nothing about message boards. The name is too common and too long though, it should be shortened to ThisisNot606.com/HullCityTigers. We will consult with the members and nothing will change until then but in the meantime it's now called ThisisNot606.com/HullCityTigers as it will bring millions of extra revenue to us all. Just check my CV.
If you don't want us on here, then let's give it away (or was it sell if to a £1). Within 24 hours. And let's move it from here to C.I.
Let's turf out any community groups though.
Now where are those crayons ......

In today’s world unfortunately yes.

The world’s completely ****ed without any ‘checkers’, could you imagine the state it’d be in if there weren’t any at all.
Huh?
In today’s world it would be terrible without them?
Which suggests yesterday’s world was better...which was when we didn’t have them!

Of course there needs to be assurance that your kids are being taught properly, but a multi million pound ‘checking’ industry with a very overt political steer? Nah. Not needed in that format IMHO

It really didn't. Bit like the yellow card for stopping an attack, worth the price.
