So what's going on with Stefan Bajčetić?
One good season- one injury- one season with only one appearance.

Will we see more of him next season. Will he be the good player we remember, or has the injury worn him down. 19, he's not too young to make an impact, probably too young to be expected every game- but if his injury is truly behind him, I'm hoping this is the season that he really breaks-out... again.

I hope his injury hasn't ruined him forever. If he's good now- this could be the year he becomes famous to fans of other teams and not just our own.

    Only time will tell.

One big big preseason for a lot of young players.

I'd say at this point that there's about 7 players who should be desperate to get slot's attention

    Carvalho
    Morton
    Bajcetic
    McConnell
    Clark
Danns (this one imo is crucial)
    Chambers
    Doak
    Pitaluga
    Davies
    Gordon

You'd hope that some have time on theirnsode but there's a fair team of players there thst are all wanting to kick on a career via loan, sale or playing for lfc.

Others like nyoni, nallo, koumas, Morrison, pinninton, Davidson are all quite young.

The biggest question is not about how will slot attract big name talents but can he exploit this flood of possible talents and not waste this because klopp happened to leave just as it came on.

Feels like Doak has been knocking on the door for a long time- but he's only 18. Loved Danns's debut.

Your prediction then. If 24/25 isnt the year of the Stefan... who is it the year of? (or is Stefan still the top predeiction) Which kid (if any) will establish themselves as a member of the senior squad the way Quansah did in 23/34?

This depends on where the chance pops up and if the kid can grab it.

Bradley was ready and got lucky with his return from injury just then both our full backs were injured so gomez was out of his way.

Quansah grabbed his shirt based on europa opportunities and then matip injury.amd konate injury and form.

We are in the cl. These kids will struggle to get a gsme imo.

    My view would be:

Carvalho, doubt it. I think he's championship standard and has to work to dominate games more.

Morton, should be ready but pace imo is the main issue. We may just cash in.

Bajcetic didn't look ready as a sub at the end of season. A huge preseason needed and no more injures

McConnell, Clark and Chambers don't look that ready imo. They would imo be 3 for a good laon (on le where thr club backs them to play)

Doak has to show more to be worth a game, the end product. Again a good loan might make him worth 20mil.

Imo Gordon is the one to watch based off thr last months of last seasons youth games.

    But..... danns is class.

Morrison has a lot to do imo, talent and work needs to go hand in hand.

Nyoni is another that imo needs to grow

And of course Ahmed is nearly ready.

Thought Clarke looked good last year. He was prob one of the kids that slotted in a lot better than the others (with exception of Quansah and Bradley who are already far more experienced after 2 loan spells).

Going to be difficult for Bajcetic to break into the MF as he looked so far from fitness or form every time he has tried to return to playing .

    Full preseason though?

Imo this year needs to have someone take command (hughes) and get the real potential puy on good loans.

Bajcetic might need a loan to come on. He might not.

    Clark really needs a loan.

Chambers should go on loan again.

    McConnell should go on loan

Then he need to get to work on the squad. Phillips should be gone. Whoever gave that guy 65k a week basically ended his career. We should not be easting limited loans on him.

Morton should be sold. His value must be peak now. Sell or use him in the squad.

Carvalho should be sold on. Imo the consistent message is he doesn't put himself out there and doesn't force his way to the front of the queue. There's a massive queue of players for a central role so he's.never making it imo.

It'll be interesting to see what we do.

Sounds like we can look forward to a more 'muscular' Bajcetic this season apparently :emoticon-0165-muscl

The first hurdle is to survive preseason intensity without injury. If he can do that he has then a chance to play games and impress the manager.

No player has any backing today, not one of the young players has a link to the manager as everyone left so there will be winners and losers here.
