Wojciech Szczesny Vito Mannone Sebastien Squillaci Johan Djourou Kieran Gibbs Carl Jenkinson Laurent Koscielny Andrey Arshavin Marouane Chamakh Ryo Miyaichi Armand Traore Thomas Vermaelen Bacary Sagna Theo Walcott Alex Song Jack Wilshere Tomas Rosicky Denilson Aaron Ramsey Emmanuel Frimpong Samir Nasri Carlos Vela Robin van Persie No Fabianski - that's a surprise!! He must still be injured?? Squillaci travels, meaning he will most likely stay for next season. No sign of Botelho, which is surprising. Denilson in, does that mean he's staying? And Traore? Your thoughts folks
No Bendtner No Lansbury No Jay Emmanuel Thomas I'm still hopeful the following leave; *Sebastien Squillaci *Tomas Rosicky *Denilson Doesn't our Premier League squad have to be maximum 25 players? If so more will have to go out on loan? 1.Wojciech Szczesny 2.Fabianski 3.Vito Mannone 4.Thomas Vermaelen 5.(NEW) Centre Back 6.Laurent Koscielny 7.Johan Djourou 8.(NEW) Left Back 9.Kieran Gibbs 10.Bacary Sagna 11.Carl Jenkinson 12.Alex Song 13.Emmanuel Frimpong 14.Jack Wilshere 15.Aaron Ramsey 16.Tomas Rosicky/Henri Lansbury 17.? Cesc or Replacement (Vidal ?) 18.Andrey Arshavin 19.Theo Walcott 20.Samir Nasri or Replacement (Juan Mata ??) 21.Ryo Miyaichi 22.?Gervinho 23.? Carlos Vela or Replacement?? 24.Robin van Persie 25.Marouane Chamakh
RvP, Bendtner is alledgedly in talks with a club over a transfer. Lansbury has been given time off due to his participation in the U-21 Euros. As for JET, only Frimpong, Traore and our Asian money maker (and possibly Jenkinson) are in the squad from a youth point of view. This is more to do with publicity and money making, so the big names are in, but the youngsters will be given their chance in the European friendlies. Not worth taking a massive squad for just 2 games. I wouldn't read too much into JET or Lansburys absence. Bartley is also out, along with many other youngsters.
As for your squad, a few of those do not need to be named, as you only have to declare players over the age of 21 @ 1st January 2012. Wilshere, Ramsey, Jenkinson won't have to be named as part of the 25.
Oh good! I wasn't sure what constituted the 25 rule. * Glad if Bendtner is in talks to finally leave. * Strange that Denilson is still here despite his comment after the season ended (maybe just to be in the shop window?) http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/925802/denilson-demands-to-move-on-from-arsenal?cc=5739
Denilson probably has has eyes on a move to a biggish side, but he is unlikely to attract one. His wages are probably higher than average for a player of his quality as well. Until he realises he has to take a step down (both in club status and wages) he will find it hard to find a team.
It's been widely reported that Fabregas has stayed home for treatment on a hamstring problem. It could be that he's leaving, but that's not the official Arsenal line right now. Fans have known since Tuesdayish that he wouldn't be travelling.
