Just a bit bored waiting for the F1 to start and was playing about with the squad. If the season started tomorrow, the team (inc subs) we could field would have a very strong feel to it.

    22.05.11

    Mig,
    Elmo, Nedum, Anton, Bardo
    Steed, Jordan, Collback, Zenden
    Sess
    Gyan

Carson, Knott, Adams, Cook, Lynch, Riveros, Noble

This has to be the least experienced bench in my lifetime at SAFC with no more than a dozen first team apperances between the WHOLE bench.

    10.07.11

    Mig
    Brown, Bramble, O Shea, Bardo
    Larsson, Catts, Gardener, Vaughan
    Sess
    Gyan

Westwood, Elmo, Turner, Colback, Steed, Wickham, Won,

A better balanced and fitter team and a strong bench and this is without the final pieces of the SAFC jigsaw being completed yet.

Stronger, balanced and more experienced this team has goals form all areas of the pitch and some excellent alternatives to change things on the bench.

    Progress? Absolutley.

Your team today is pretty much what I would have gone for, with the exception of westwood in goal and Colback in for Catts. Think Colback just gives us more options than Catts.

I'm liking the look of that, but still think we need another Striker then I would be happy, I pray to god that it works out and the team gel as we have experience/maturity mixed with youth/quality.

Not the team i'd pick, but still massive progress. And it may be the team that starts.

No one can second guess what's in Bruce's mind..

Plenty of alternatives for him to look at...

Think we'll have more of an idea in the pre-season games.
