Ireland have two guaranteed bronze medals in the boxing thus far and hopefully Belfasts Michael Conlin will make it three tonight and Belfasts Paddy Barnes four tomorrow night. This is about the 5th thread on this today.
Im quite sure if they had Olympic tarmacing or Pro Celebrity clothes peg selling they would be doing far better.
Pretty sure England aren't competing, but G.B(or more factually correct, U.K) on the other hand...For the record, if we are going by population, I would imagine Scotland have done better than England, although that is only a guess.
Didn't we do this the other day? The IOC don't recognise NI - it's Ireland, not Republic of Ireland just like the rugby. NI athletes can compete for GB but it's GB - not UK.
