I've heard it from a reputable source that Ngog was highly rated and expected to set the world on fire "He's not all that bad" was the info I got 2-3 months back. It isn't uncommon for a player to fluff his lines in the Premier League and young players need at least 1 season to adjust.
Surely unless Bruce goes 4-3-3 next season he's going to be a sub who plays the last 15 mins or so? I can't for the life of me imagine Bruce not having a bigger name striker lined up to partner Gyan.
No to N'Gog, I don't want Henderson to go we have a great asset on our hands and we shouldn't be bending over the table when one of the so called big teams comes knocking I've just seen the news about 20mins ago, I cant help but feel let down by the club, they tell us we need to push onto the next level and there we go selling one our assets and potentially adding a Liverpool reject who's goals per game ratio is a joke. We'll see how the summer pans out but I fear its going to be another long hard season towards the bottom of the table.
It's fine Syd - the "Bruce Out" brigade are already out and the window has only been open a week... we are (collectively and vocally - at least some on here) baying for Bruce's head regardless. Judge after 31st August rather than on the 8th June.
Haven't seen anything yet from the "Henderson is crap" brigade who nwanted him sold at the earliest oportunity. Folk should always be careful what they wish for, it sometimes happens. How do the henderson out brigade feel now? Happy, sad or just not sure? Answers on a postcard!
