SB has the experience of handling the last few games of the season, in the run up of the last few games.
Malky? the only thing he has going for him is that he is Scottish.

Very slim. I posted on another thread that 3 wins for Cardiff leaves us needing 16 points, and with their goal difference that means we'd need 17 points - 5w 2d or 6w. We haven't had a run like that all season.

There's no reason why we can't nick top spot. As long as we win games, that means Cardiff have the pressure to win games too. Now that they don't have a game in hand on us, we can really start to close the gap starting with Udinese tonight!

So we need to better them by 5 points before we meet in the final game of the season? Anything is doable in this league, after all that tide could turn in the next two matches...

Cardiff will win the league, never in a million years will we make up more than a point a game in the run-in.

If they had lost to Blackburn then maybe we had a chance, but beating them comprehensively as they did, I think will give them the lift now to go on an take the title.

I suspect you're right and that equally applies to Watford if we win tonight....

I dont know how anyone can say that. Look how Watford, Palace and more spectacularly Leicester have all dropped points. Us, or Cardiff could very well do the same. Anyone can beat anyone in this league.

The next couple of matches will be a good indicator, if we beat Watford and Watford beat Cardiff....

To be fair though, how many of us honestly expect us to win tonight? It just wouldnt be Hull City to make things as straightforward as possible and be so far clear of our nearest rival.

I'd be over the moon with a draw....

I'd be disappointed with a draw as we have the team to beat them and we are at home. We know we have some very hard away games against teams with a new vitality, although Wolves were lucky to hang in for a win. No time for the feint-hearted, one game at a time, let others worry about us, we just need to keep it tight and we can expect a few more goals from our larkers as we are due a bit of the rub.

Also got a bet from start of season that we would win league - Watford is the interesting game for us both. As if us and Cardiff both get 3 points against them and we beat Middlesbrough on saturday Watford will be 10 points behind us with just 5 matches to go. And at the end of the day if we get promoted does it matter whether we finished 1st or 2nd.

Without question Hull City have every chance of Top Spot. But Cardiff City will have to lose 2 games at least the same day that Hull win. Ive been saying for weeks that IF we can be 2 points behind the taffs prior to the final game on 4th May then that will do for me. If not then so be it. But its not over at all. Cardiff were lucky yesterday by all accounts as the 3-0 scoreline was very mis-leading especially as Blackburn lost there No.1 GK when only 1-0 down.

But why was Jordan Rhodes dropped ? Your top goal scorer ffs ? Unless of course he wants away already ?

Over to Steve Bruce if that bits true. imo

How can Cardiff lose two games in one day? Even for you Tickler that was a good one :)

Are you that stupid eh ? :emoticon-0108-speec To spell it out for you it means that Cardiff lose when Hull win. (ie. the next 2 saturdays when Cardiff go to Watford and then host Forest) Is that better ? :emoticon-0100-smile

The only luck involved in the Cardiff win yesterday was playing a Blackburn side that deserve to go down.
We were so lucky to have 15 shots on target while they couldn't manage one.
Lucky to have 12 corners against none for them.

It's the kind of luck that will see us promoted.
