It seems that we are looking to have something around 21-22,000 for Newcastle game ...how true this will pan out is anyones guess ...
Should we avoid defeat at Norwich tonight I would be disappointed if we got less than 23-24,000 against Newcastle even though it's still holiday season.
It was intimated there would a similar number 20 - 21 000 for Wigan it was less than 18000 , is it the same as weather forcasting? .. toss a coin = rain or sun = patchy rain with outbreaks of sunshine and some cloudy periods ..
You also get a big percentage of season ticket holders who don't go. They base it on sales and all season ticket holders going. I've got three seats and only two of us go so that's 1 in three. The reason is my daughter works shifts over the weekend and it was cheaper to retain her season ticket than trying to get her ticket for games she can attend, plus she's guaranteed to sit next to us.
No, 21,000 is the number of tickets ALREADY SOLD for the Newcastle game. Can't see many season ticket holders NOT going to this one or that you think that more people won't go to watch us play Newcastle than Wigan.. http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/biggest-crowd-for-22-years-expected-3250462.aspx It is very disappointing that there are still restrictions on the Lansdown stand, the ground could have been close to full. Hope it's sorted for the Villa game...
Now over 22000.... http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/johnson-excited-by-bumper-crowd-3254785.aspx
I am just waiting patiently to see 24,000 at AG, so what's the issue regarding the new stand's status - health and safety, or are we waiting for some eurocrat to approve the deal?
Its not finished Mike, some parts of the interior still resemble a building site I hear so, not fully signed off yet. Unless we made some changes to the specs mid term, the builders must be getting creamed on the liquidated damages... I wish that they would just come out and say how many we can actually get in. Its alright banging on about the biggest crowd for decades, etc but in truth, a large swath of the top tier will still be empty. Had we beaten Norwich, we would have sold all available seats (and may still do so)
Newcastle finally getting off the mark last night makes this a potentially very tasty game indeed. I'm really hoping for 24,000 plus
last nights result was a real bugmer .. they could likely be on the start of a run that would take them into double figure points clear over the next 10 games.. the best result I am looking for is a draw the worst, a defeat by 1 goal
If your comment is true then that is what i would expect with our good start to the season. Nice to see city fans turning out and backing this exciting team we have, they will get better and better as the games go by. i really do fancy us for a top six spot.
