So where have you booked so far this year chaps? I’m off to Benidorm, my first cruise round the Adriatic, Gran Canaria and then a road trip round The Netherlands and Northern Germany. Looking forward to some down time.
We were in Norfolk in Feb, New York in March, and we're off to Kefalonia in August. Also hoping for a city break in Oct.
Head south for a day and visit either Pompei or Herculaneum (?). Both similar. Pompei bigger and more famous but Herculaneum is worth a visit.
Not travelling abroad but likely gonna travel for some hikes on the Pennines. please log in to view this image
I even last year had to advise those rebuilding Consett on what and how they should be building based on my experience with Pompei but Consett didn’t want anything that technologically advanced.
Not been on holiday for more than a weekend since 2017. No idea how anyone has the time or the money to go every year. Wife and I had planned a week’s skiing as our first big trip since then. Found out her passport expired 89 days after we’d have got back. No way to change dates and passport office on strike. So we went to Wales for a couple days instead. Wife has exams this summer so will probably use all her leave preparing for them. And my work’s a bit uncertain so right now can’t justify dropping the money on a big trip abroad. Definitely overdue a decent holiday. She fancies somewhere sunny. I’m not a big fan of just lying on a beach. Any recommendations for somewhere that’s interesting, sunny, but not too expensive?
