How about a competition for the whole of next year’s Flat Racing.
The winner will be the one who’s amassed the most points.
You pick two horses and the points for each win will be as follows:

Group One………..25 points (plus 15 points bonus for a Classic win)
    Group Two………..20 points
    Group Three………15 points
    Any Other Race Type…10 points

I’ll start it off with my two choices:
    1. Tahiyra.
    2. Denmark.

PS. 1. We need at least 10 entries for the competition to be viable. Updates given at the end of each month
    2. Entries close 31st March, 2023.
    3. Competition finishes end of November, 2023.

Good idea: same dates as the Andrew Balding competition. What about maiden or Novice or indeed listed wins.

    I can’t think of everything. I’m only a simple Lancashire lad.<doh>
The idea was for members to find and predict, mainly two and three year olds, which will develop from this year into top class three and four year olds.
PS. I’ve edited the Competition. Does that suit ? <laugh>

May I have more than one entry? If yes, here's entry one for me

    Bustino1: My Prospero and Barrier

Sorry Tamerlo another clarification. Can contestants choose the same 2 horses as someone else? If no, I think it's fair that a contestant can choose one that someone else has chosen but both horses that someone else has chosen could be seen as uncompetitive.

Will think about Bustino2 once I get your clarification.

Choosing the same horses is OK but a bit daft.

Bustino, only one entry of two horses.
No hedging your bets as a Barrier to My Prosper(o)ing. <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Only the French would want to pick a horse which should be called John Upemily! <laugh>

See what I've started? I put a selection in and there's then a flood of entries (well 3).

I see Marquand is reading my comments. 2 days after putting up My Prospero he's reported as saying My Prospero is one to watch this season.

    Bustino 2 disqualified!
One selection of two horses only.
Make your mind up- or I’ll deport you back to Yorkshire!<laugh>
PS. My comment to Ron highlighted 2 horses for an entry , not 2 entries.

Sorry I misread your earlier note. I thought two entries was a good idea and would allow you to get to your minimum number of entries.
I'll stick with my first choices.
