Tbf, it's not just my dislike of the Eagles but neither of those sides have won a Superbowl in my lifetime (as an NFL fan) though 49ers have been in a couple. Think the first super bowl I ever watched was 49ers v ravens in 2013. I was supporting the Ravens as they won in the first NFL game I ever watched all the way through, a crazy game against the Denver broncos. Went into two periods of overtime

Think I must have watched the 2014 one as my first- where the Seahawks blew out the Broncos in an upset.

I’d like to think the 49ers have the game to win on the road in Phili but of course will be tough. I think if they can get themselves to 3rd and manageable often enough and pound the rock, they may be able to limit Jalen Hurts time on the field with his offense

Purdy injury totally killed the match.

Feel utterly robbed of a contest tbh.

This 4th QB is woefully limited. Game came two weeks early for Jimmy G to suit up.

Great, I'm gonna have to support the Chiefs. Oh well, I guess they haven't won it that recently. Though more so than the eagles, but they're not the eagles

You should become a Cardinals fan. They're a proper bird team

Feel sorry for the 49ers because they lost their starting QB to injury early, then their backup got concussed, THEN their first choice QB came back in but could not throw the ball. The Eagles stacked the box and it got ugly from there.

On the AFC side, the better team won, barely. Give Patrick Mahomes a lot of credit for playing that well on a high ankle sprain. The idiotic penalty on the Bengals made the winning field goal possbile. The Chiefs finally beat the Bengals, after three straight losses.

My prediction for the Super Bowl result is...Eagles 27, Chiefs 24. The team with the last possession wins it.

I still think they should have at least put CMC in as quarterback for at least a few plays rather than just running it every single play. He might not be a QB but at least he could throw the ball
