So, once again congratulations to a worthy champion who’s season long domination deserved the title. A creditable mention also to those who kept the pressure on, Rooch who had a brief sniff at shared top spot a few weeks ago, Ozzy who came with a late run and Daydream was waiting from any slip ups above him. Riever also found form and Cumbrian had a major surge which if we had play offs could have put him up against Rooch in the playoff final, which would have determined this years Cumbrian Cup instead of the league placing. The next group show that it’s only a few good weeks that can make all the difference.. It’s easy to just hand Manager of the Year to the title winner, but in this case we cannot ignore the sheer consistency and holding of top spot. Well done Farnborough, add the managers trophy to the cabinet. Goal of the Season goes to RAW for the most Guest score successes, with runner up being Daydream who had by far most correct scores. SAFC Young Player is shared between Ozzy and Riever who had equal results and scores for our games. Best winning form sequence was 6, achieved several times and Snaggey achieved an amazing 10 consecutive draws. Between us, 14192 predictions were made with 5476 predicted right, for a win percentage of 38.6%. ( Best week 53%, worst 19%) Correct scores were 1222, 9.2% and a total of 156 Guest scores were claimed. Fantastic effort and the target to beat next season. Maybe we’ll have a new division to acclimatise to again ! It’s been exciting, intriguing and most importantly fun, hope to se you all back in August Edit— p.s. also my thanks to Gordon , it’s always good to know he’s there
It was that week where I actually caught Farnboro and you still put him above me which broke me , I just didn’t have any fight left after that.
I can only suggest a new owner/sponsor who’ll insist on a name change that’s less alphabetically challenged - just in case next year !
Well done for running with this @gelders pie. I know if it was me people would still be waiting for scores from week 3 as I promised myself I would get around to it this week!
Damn, i think i actually missed a week as well. Great competition Gelders and look forward to beating Farnboro next season
Ive thought of about ten names beginning with A that would put you at the top op the list me old mucka, but i don't think you would like them mate, but im thinking about you, you know me owt to help
