Bottas to win the championship. They'll make a film about it in 27 years.

Sounds like the circuit had road cars going round track all night trying to wear in the circuit. Then it rained :)
Looks like it will be fun. Plus 50/50 chance of rain again tomorrow!

Anyone know rules re they have started quali session and if they stop it?
I assume they would use Q1 times for grid?

Why stop the clock? Its too wet so why would cars go out anyway as they can't improve.... roll the clock out and end the session.

Giving people in drop zone an advantage here

I think in quali they stop clock as conditions might improve. Whereas in practice it's just hard luck. I wonder if it's also about TV coverage as quali is widely broadcast where as practice doesn't get much coverage.

I wonder if they can switch off the non ic parts of the pu to reduce power a bit. They would need a bit to stop turbo lag causing sudden power spike?

But it's the standard red flag rules, just because it's rain rather than an accident/track obstacle shouldn't change the red flag rules.
