Few different drivers listed as I'm not sure it's worth listing Ferrari - Couldn't see a 'run for cover' emoji. Oops - forgot to set time limit on poll. Oh well it's just fun.... My brain is gone!!!! Found the edit button then set close to 1pm Doh should have been 2pm!! Sorry...
Mercedes 1-2 easy just wonder if there let Bottas challenge Hamilton or tell him to sit behind straight away.
F3 Quali was predictably batshit. Top 6 on the grid all under investigation for impeding. So Nannini in P7 could end up on pole. please log in to view this image
They're already messing about in FP2 all queuing up to get a tow. Only the Mercedes & Red Bulls seem to be hunting for clear air. Assuming anyone gets a time in that is, endless lap deletions for going wide at Parabolica.
Renault quick again, I'm starting to look forwards to next season and seeing Alonso at the sharp end.
They'll be deleting the following lap time too, so you can't gain a speed advantage down the main straight. Could really screw with anyone trying to do a single run in a session.
There may well be lots of tears as it sounds like they are using P2 times to set a slowest allowable lap time for P3 and Quali!!! It's going to be interesting to see if this minimum time is a sector based one or a total lap time. I might create a mixed grid for this race till they get their software tools sorted. Plus the new engine maps rule. I am sure some of the PU manufacturers will have worked out some way to have a single map AND still have 'Party Mode' when required.
I voted for Carlos Sainz this race and last, nt because I think he'll win. I'm just hoping it'll be someone other than a Mercedes bore-fest again
Never suggested he could lose weight. Just a liberal coating of margarine and a shoehorn, and he'd still give the whippersnappers something to think about.
I voted Lewis but sooner or later he surely is going to have a DNF. A podium with Danny would surely be good. The Renault engine doesn't seem too tardy, I wonder if Danny is going to regret going to Mclaren. Renault are the only works supplier left unless he ends up in Mercedes, but he isn't the youngest, nor the cheapest so I don't see that as his option. I think he needed to stay at Renault but too late now.
It's a tricky one for Ricciardo, McLaren did seem on a march forward until very recently, and with the addition of a Mercedes engine this can only help (once they can incorporate it efficiently). I still feel McLaren is a better bet than Renault, but form today doesn't guarantee form in the future.
