    It's not a 'short term injury', it's a long term injury. We're talking months not weeks. Allison Becker with a calf injury is short term. It's like Liverool losing Virgil. However Liverpool would be equipped without Virgil because Matip and Gomez suit the system because they are both so quick. How much pace do Stones or Otamendi have? Otamendi rivals Phil Jones in the clumsy stakes.

    Secondly you'll fund that Otamendi was not in the 2017/18 team of the season, it was Laporte and Van Dijk.
