Seems like prices have increased quite a lot. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/201819-season-card-prices-announced/ please log in to view this image
Not that I have young ones to take so I don't know, but talking to friends with kids seemed quite shocked by how much it's gone up..
The increase in price for my season ticket in E32 is absolutely ridiculous, £69 increase and for what exactly ?
have they announced a % discount yet? usually it is the start of actually getting peeps to start to cough up!
Doesn't really affect me as I plan to move to be aside S82, so will actually be cheaper, but some of these things are ridiculous. The lack of childrens pricing in the Lansdown stinks. It's less the pricing in some areas and more the social impact of it - more corporate BS in football.
How to shoot yourself on the foot, and after all the recent positive publicity too, They should be looking to encourage all the newbies gained as a result of the Manchester games , instead they alienate people.
There is a lot of annoyance from the public at the new S/T price increases all over the media, they are also experiencing major objections to the new training ground planning application, this coupled with the latest disasterous run of 1 win in 12/13 games on the pitch it's no wonder everybody has disappeared and there are no answers cominmg from Bristol Sports, keeping a low profile.
Poor they are refusing to talk to RB to at least explain the thinking behind the changes, silence makes them appear arrogant.
I was coated off for uttering criticism of Bristol Sport. They have their financial targets high. What people are seeing is it s most visible face. This comes as no surprise from experience of purchasing BS products - Not those in the club shop. Similar has been done to the Community trust. Services from what is supposedly a charity have increased by huge sums at the detriment of those who can least afford them, and now do not.
Still a massive price increase , I wonder whether these prices were decided when we were top 6 and looking like PL was a distinct possibility, will be interesting to see having backed down once they change there stance on any other issue including prices.
And still have price points that are massive rises. In particular children, OAP's and the disabled ... Ignorant, arrogant out of touch ****ers behave like that.
Just received email to renew SC, I sit in middle Dolman so a big increase for me, I believe SS are staying the same , but overall prices have increased well above inflation and some concessions particularly badly hit , I for one will not renew mine until last minute, if at all. I didn't buy one last season until half season , mainly because I went to most games anyway so was costing more to keep buying POTD. The more people that delay buying early may encourage them to reconsider pricing , unlikely I know but worth a try. Some on OTIB are suggesting other Ways of persuasion, as some people seem particularly upset by the large increases. It does seem a shame that the time we have a real feel good factor around the place and attendances are rising , they seem intent on discouraging it by hiking prices, surely it would be far more productive to encourage people to renew by affordable pricing and selling more SC next season. We had a great opportunity to increase SC sales next season. I hope the high increases don't prevent that.
Has the club actually said why the large % increase in prices? I can't think of any good reason myself
Well I’ve just renewed my south stand ticket, great value, I’ve enjoyed the season so much, we have generally played with such mojo, we will only get better and better hopefully, feel for the young families though, too much of an increase! Am I right in thinking some areas are cheaper than watching the Gas?
From what I can gather they have compared our prices with other championship sides and bought ours into line , apparently. They've put up prices in all areas, apart from the SS, with the biggest increase in the areas they consider the premium seats , i.e. Dolman centre and Lansdown centre , as well as increasing concession prices in the lansdown centre by up to 100%, it seems they intend to prevent concessions there , preferring them to sit in the family area. Originally there was no option for concessions at all in the lansdown lower, but the club backed down and are now offering them but at a much higher cost than this season.
Interested to hear thoughts about plans to walk out on 30 mins tomorrow, & return for second half . Good idea , or disruptive just when the players need our support ?
