It seems not many people understand the Portuguese nh sound.
A lot of commentators pronounce Kanté as Konté or Kahnté - that irritates me.
But then I am easily irritated.

    So utd tonight. spurs tomorrow.

I have to say I think utd will do PSG over. PSG were not all that against us and they miss neymar and cavani....

mind you mbappe v jones will be fun <laugh>

Spurs v dortmund is also a home game.... I can't make my mind up over this one. By rights dortmund should have a big chance but spurs... who knows which spurs will turn up.

It is amazing that a few weeks ago we all said it was a PSG banker to go through and that the mancs were the team everyone wanted to play.

I still think it will be a tough task for the mancs to go through.

Now you and I know I don’t have to do anything you say but...
I already don’t go to the cinema and very rarely watch films etc
The amounts on them turns my stomach too but I think that top end football is in a bubble and league of its own

As for your grass roots stuff
    I regularly goto AFC Fylde
Went to fleetwood (shudder) as they came through the leagues and manage an under 8s team
    I still play 3 times a week at 42.
I love the game and tbh I have made no secret of not minding what many perceive as unattractive football.
I went to Burnley when they were in the lower leagues but much prefer the atmos. at Anfield
But thanks - when I get proper fed up of it I will totally not bother about the top end.

    it is what it is.

Personally I've never felt PSG were top tier after seeing first game we played them in.

The mancs have been let free, its that simple imo. Martial has point to prove and platform to do so. He's signed new deal. Pogba is playing like he can when bothered cos he was clearly not playing for mourinho. Rashford has been let loose by solsjkaer and has the confidence to go with pace. Lingard is doing a lot of work to make it all tie together.

Their defence... meh... their midfield duo... can be over run imo, doing well but can be run off park.

Without neymar and cavani its over to mbappe.

I think utd can go through but need the win tonight.

Then why moan about what people get paid, I don’t.

Glad the knees still let you play at 42, mine gave up just at the right time and I don’t miss playing and after two seasons joint managing in Sheffield and Hallam County senior league stepped away without any desire to go back.

Tottenham handed double injury blow ahead of Borussia Dortmund clash

Mauricio Pochettino has admitted it will be “impossible” for Danny Rose to start against Borussia Dortmund.

It leaves Tottenham facing a major injury worry at left back with Ben Davies also ruled out because of a groin problem ahead of the Champions League clash.

England left back Rose suffered a gash to his shin against Leicester on Sunday and missed training this morning, although Tottenham hope he might be fit to be on the bench.
