The list of players we love to hate. What do they say about the hate is greater for the ones we used to love most? Be it as it may, we as Liverpool fans may loathe the guy for what he’s done. But what excuse has the tabloids? The way he is constantly hounded and given negative press is a disgrace. And quite brave of him to call them on it. It’s funny that these tabloids are falling over themselves to attack that middle aged scum screaming his bile but they have been key in Sterling s vilification.
One thing Sterling doesn't deserve criticism for and thats his quality. He is used to playing fluid football every week for city and is very effective, although his final product is still lacking imo, but he gets enough chances that it doesn't matter. Whereas when he plays for England, everything is set up to accommodate the gaping fish who just stands still up top and then game passes Sterling by. Personally I think he is the best English player
Meh, his end product is woeful. If he has to think about it, he typically fluffs his lines. You'd have thought that this would have improved since he left us but no. He ran teams ragged at the WC but had no end product. Fact. So in terms of making runs, finding space and scaring defences, he's world class but in terms of finishing, crossing, decision making he's below average. What you might call an enigma.
ALISSON WONDERLAND: Brazilian keeper Alisson has overtaken Javier Mascherano as most successful player in the history of Liverpool in the Premiership for most games unbeaten from his debut. Chelsea suspend four supporters over alleged Raheem Sterling abuse https://www.skysports.com/football/...supporters-over-alleged-raheem-sterling-abuse
Walcott lucky there... offside... if ref had blown Gomez would have been within his rights to nut him lol
Missed the goal but have not missed ref ignoring an elbow to the back of richarldson head. No free, didn't stop game for head injury. Crazy
Mina foul was clearly same as Henderson foul that got him second yellow... only difference is its first half. Again ref buying himself time rather than just reffing situation. But as I said richarldson held his head and clearly wasn't actually hurt bad but he was clobbered and it was a free in middle.
