Could not agree more with Dalglish and the owners.
The back pass rule from the footage I have seen as as i was not watching seventies and early eighties had a big impact on us, genuinely didnt realise people laughed at us over, freaky thing to laugh at anyone for but would not surprise me. Anyway we seemed to almost bore teams to death with the triangles a bit like city now, and the goalie was a big part of that, we used the goalie to pull teams out and for safety so i think there was something in it.
As I said it was a culmination of things that seemed to do for us in the end.

Everyone back passed. The difference was we tried to use it while others just lumped it after.

Tbh lfc with barnes beardsely, houghton, rush, molby, mcmahon, nicol, Hanson... thats not about back passing and nothing else.

In my view the professionalism Utd applied did more to win titles than the lack of back passes
