Careful PnP, I can't see the headlines now, 'Spurs use Sonny to make an illegal approach for a player'.
Some things I just don't understand. If gossip and rumours are to be believed then we are close to buying Ben Wilmot from Stevenage. They want £1mill but we are offering £850,000. A difference of a week and a bit of Harry Kane's salary Really? That's what we are arguing over with a League 2 team who need that money more than we do. (see Hartlepool who need £200,000 this month to stay in business ). Surely if we want the player we can stretch to an extra £150,000. (After all when we sell him in a few years time to 'pool, we can ask for £75.15 mill. ).
We’re seriously after a Korean player called Han? So we could end up with Han and Son. Hanson. Hopefully no one will see the opportunity to create an “mmmbop” chant.
If the rumours are true - about the price haggling - then I agree 100%. Mind you, that extra £150k might be funding the new stadiums Cheese Emporium and if that doesn’t happen I know someone who’ll not be happy! @TFTB
If they want to quibble about £150k, why don't we remind them that the last time we played them they nobbled Michael Dawson for the rest of the season?
weaves his way through the whole opposition before scoring.... ......or a Han Solo as it will be known
Tim Sherwood: "Harry Kane wouldn't still be at Spurs if he had the pace of Aubameyang". Tim, if you spoke out of your mouth instead of your arsehole, you'd still have a job in football.
AFAIK the problem for Timmy is that medical science has not yet established which orifice is which for him (hence his employment predicament) .
And some black cherry jam. You can't eat blue cheese without it. That aside, I brought four large packets of water biscuits to Africa after Christmas and they lasted one day, everyone loved them, even without cheese. You can't buy the buggers here, business anyone? I'm still dieting but I've got a nice piece of Roquefort put aside for my birthday. Might be eating it with digestives and blackberry jam though.
A mate of mine from Ireland lived in India for a number of years. Whenever I went out, his list of stuff for me and Mrs B to fill our bags with... Cheese, red wine, water biscuits, more cheese and more red wine.....and cheese.
Under The Radar Rumour Watch Despite making a tarantula's breakfast when looking to make his loan a permanent deal, it looks as though Pau Lopez is letting his contract with Espanyol expire - and not only has there been some comment from ex-Espanyol boss Sergio Gonzalez saying that it's possible that he'll be headed our way in the summer while crediting Tony Jimenez with his improvement, but Poch was seen in the stands at the weekend for Espanyol's match against Bilbao.
