In theory this should be a good season. New stand to keep the noise in and the wind out will finally make the place feel like a proper stadium instead of an incomplete meccano model.
Summer signings look good but not amazing in Nicholls, Watson and Akpa Akpro all looking like they will strengthen the squad, The true excitement is the 7-8 players that have progressed from the academy with Shomotun and Harry Taylor leading the way.
On the negative we have the dregs of last year's summer signings to offload and an unhappy fan base thanks to some appalling decisions by the club with the hiking of prices and an insistence of photo ID cards.
So hopefully a good season but with the cloud of lower crowds unless the success is enough to attract glory hunters.
