Lets hope Yedlin is indeed the first through the door! If it's true as suggested that Phelan has the £4.5m from Diames sale to play with pending the takeover, then assuming Diames clause meant the fee had to be paid all upfront, then hopefully we can get a couple in this week; we bloody need them pronto!

Newcastle are after Forestieri from Wednesday now. They must be looking to off load the big players they have. If we do get new owners soonish I'd be tempted to try to buy the best they have....Tiote, Sissoko (maybe on loan), Anita, Aarons.
Sissoko isn't going to come to us on loan when he's stated he wants to play in the Champions League with Real Madrid!
The Owls fans seem to be spitting rage that their owner isn't backing down to Forestieri and giving him the £50k per week he deserves.
Real Madrid said they'd never had any interest in him... I think it was all in his head. He might get stuck in the Championship if he's not careful.
I still think its a shocking decision they weren't automatically promoted for having the most and loudest fans at the play off final....
I'm loving all my Wednesday supporting mates (all 4 million of them.....) wetting their pants over this. They can't understand why he'd want to leave the most massive and best supported club in the land....
This week is possibly the most important week of the season, after our win against Leicester and a takeover looking like being on the cards we look about as attractive as we may get to potential signings, a loss to Swansea and/or any delays on the take over front after this week and we could start to look a total shambles again and players may not want to come. We simply have to start signing players if we are to stay up.
Derby and Newcastle are the two parties who are interested, Newcastle just rumoured at the mo where Derby have had a bid or 2 rejected.
Edit - I would imagine Forestieri would want to go to Newcastle as they'll pay big wages and are the only club who can compete with Weds on the massiveness scale
Derby would just be a sideways move IMHO. Newcastle would be a backwards move
