Ok then I'll expand to the fact we tried to take Bony or Benteke on loan in the first place, coupled with our loan bid for Rashford. Laughably bad.

See if they were available then it's a good move, the stumbling block arrives when we aren't going to pay their wages. Both will be on in excess of £80,000 a week and if we aren't going to drum up for transfer fees, why would we pay even half of these weekly wages?

The "speculation" is a bunch of fans on some of the Facebook groups asking where he is because he's not in today's photos from Austria and they're saying he's going here, there and everywhere without any proof.

Earlier, one of them posted we were in for Rojo because they can't seem to read an article properly (their quoted article said we are in for Jones, not Rojo) and another fan believed we had four players being bidded for after they misread Jim White's tweet. Shows how rumours start.
 
I think the rumours have started because if you look at all the clubs photos from today at training Abel is not in any of them so either he was not at training today or he has left to come back

Am I the only one who thinks a loan bid for Rashford was worth a shot? I doubt he'll start a PL game under Mouriniho so Man U could've been tempted to let him go out on loan and start every game.
With Benteke I admit we have no chance, especially when they are already turning down bids of £30m.
But I can also see Bony coming to us later in the Window (Man City have Aguero, Bony, Iheanacho and now Jesus all fighting for 1 spot) The only other team linked to him was Swansea and they've now signed Llorente.

I've tweeted quite a few times about the fans forum. Wow it's ****e! One that I remember was someone asking how much we were getting for Snoddy after he left the club. It was an international break. He was going for a Scotland match. Utter morons.
Wasn't it that page who started the rumours the other day of Phelan leaving/being sacked?
 
Apparently news of Maguire going and Hernandez going has come from Deano in a Q&A session tonight. Hernandez has a buy out clause <laugh>

Yeah he did, it was at Springhead golf club. He shouldn't have said it, he'll probably lose his job as ambassador now.

The value of that clause after relegation isn't the problem. The problem is the idiot who didn't stipulate that they're revoked as soon as we're promoted again.

They would have never been available on loan, it was as a stupidly bad idea.

Rashford will play plenty for United.
