I actually think as a squad player Robson-Kanu is a good addition. Sure he isn't the top class striker we are all craving but he adds to what we currently have and can play in a number of positions. On a free he is a decent signing to bulk out our attacking options.
Someone sensible at last.
Stop moaning about people moaning you moaner.
Don't think anyone's mentioned it. But seen on Twitter that we're being linked to Georginio Wijnaldam (however it's spelt) from the mags. Would be an outstanding buy, but can't see that we could afford him. Would cost probably upwards of £20m and with a rumoured budget of £18m and needed to prioritise other areas surely can't be much mileage in that?
Wijnaldum was rubbish for Newcastle, was the definition of a downhill skiier for them. Do not want.
I am sure you are an expert on being fashionable, ErnieHe started brightly enough for the Mags but when everyone else went missing so did he. If you want scrappers for a season long relegation battle he ain't your man. Anyway, more fashionable teams than us are in for him. Can't see it happening.

Bruce saying that a 'most exciting' opportunity has arisen 'in the last half hour' quite obviously isn't Robson Kanu.

I can only imagine with the odd slash it could be Wijnaldum on loan - he's a flashy exciting player so that could fit the bill. Not sure who else it is unless it's someone entirely left field we haven't even considered.
