Getting it in before the Chavbus fans like CFC and BM comes here crying and IQ87 from Arsenal land who will know doubt cry.

I say well done to Spuds and Leicester for upsetting the apple cart and deserve the top 2 positions.

Make the most of it as Liverpool will win it next year <ok>

Or UTD will after they spend £5000B

I think it's the strongest league we have had in a while the days of the smaller teams rolling over are gone. West ham and stoke have players in shaqiri and Payet a few years ago they would be playing for the top teams in the country not the club's there at now. The money that all the teams have now has leveled the playing field

It's the perfect storm tbh. A combination of poor managers at the big clubs, some purchases based on cost rather than suitability as the barometer to judge players being brought in. Looking at the situation every one of the big clubs is in right now and you could have put them in the same position 8-9 years ago and we'd have the same mediocrity in the league back then as well. What's clearly unique is Leciester City. What they've done is remarkable and completely of their own making.

Poor managers? I'm not sure that's accurate.
Van Gaal doesn't seem suited for Man Utd, but his record elsewhere is largely excellent.
Mourinho and Wenger are defining managers for their clubs, while Pellegrini has won the league with City.

Past performances mean very little when you're talking about how **** they've shown themselves to be this season. Van Gaal, Mourinho (who clearly fell out with an underachieving title winning team in mutiny, subsequently left in December), Pelligrini and Wenger have all been poor in the league, there's no getting away from that. Like I said, couple that with the FM approach to team building, and you could put those same clubs in the same situation 8-9 years ago and I'd fancy the Spurs side under Martin Jol to be up there right now.

I disagree. Hazard's had a bad season. He's not a bad player. Why is that any different for managers?

Simple, because with the exception of Mourinho, nobody in their right mind would want any of them at their club if they want to challenge for the league.

Player power is more of a problem than all of us think IMO.

Arsenal fans all want Wenger to stay. <whistle>
Pellegrini won the title in the season before last and van Gaal's won seven in three different countries.

When you look at LVG's record does rather make you wonder.

I don't like his tactics and some of his team selection is just bizarre.
You can't knock his record before joining Man Utd, though.

I wouldn't put it past that equally big cretin, Woodward tbh. He's only keeping him on to save his own skin bcos he put his balls on the line bringing him in, then backing him throughout. Personally, I hope they both fck off.

What might force them to kick LVG into touch is pressure financially. The reality is any risk to the marketing side finishing outside the top 4 may be more influential than fan pressure.

He's a one trick pony. It's a bit like Scolari. Plan A but no Plan B and far too stubborn (or limited?) to change it once they got found out in the prem.
