Think we'll see a fair few more going - Bodurov Voser Burgess (loan) Tunnicliffe Williams (R) (loan?) Smith Taggart Equally, and arguably, Larnel Cole will be in the squad (especially if Roberts goes). The list also highlights the need for experience at the back.
This is me just absolutely fabricating this one from thin air but I could see Scott Miller taking Ryan Williams and potentially Taggart on loan to Newcastle Jets. Agree with Cottager though that we'll likely see Voser go but I think we might hang on to the rest of them.
Think Tunnicliffe will stay and also Taggert can't believe people want him to go I really hope he gets a chance injury free a full preseason think he offers a threat in behind and also runs the channels . Would be good to see a fully fit Larnell Cole as well has been tipped for big things since the age of 17 just hasn't been fit since 17
Our backline is currently Grimmer, Burn, Hutchinson and Kavanagh. Those four have an average age of under 23, but the real issue is the lack of depth. Outside of Bodoruv, Amorebieta is halfway out the door and Kay Voser is MIA. We really need to add two fullbacks (hopefully Husband is one of those) and another centre back. I'd also like to see us add someone who can play as a right winger, if Roberts is leaving us. Even if we stay with the diamond, we -have- to add a plan B. We have to be proactive in adding another dimension to enable us to exploit the weaknesses of other teams, rather than just waiting for them to nullify us.
If we hold on to Roberts then I'd say we're not looking bad in midfield and attack, although I do think we are sorely missing a DM. On the other hand the defence looks bad, too many CB's, not all good enough, no proper full backs or experience. This has to be the priority now.
