    compared to Saiz and O'kane he seemed to offer nothing in attack.yes he can tackle and looks a well built strong lad.
    we need that link between mid and the front guys.
    yesterday we played the T.C way of keep ball.no one made forward runs of any note.
    we were shot shy and dare i say it over coached.the shackles need to come off and the 12th man AKA the crowd may just make the difference.

    It's a bit strange, he's supposedly a safety first, non adventurous coach and yet we've signed a few flair players

    I agree the shackles need to come off and just let them play

    Alioski looks good, happy that he tracks back and tackles but he needs to avoid giving away silly fouls in dangerous positions as a result. Cooper was at times good but .... where is that new CB? Pennington looked comfortable and competent. The pace of the game will be more frenetic next week and I hope their game can step up to match.

    Is it better than 2014?, on paper and pre-season yes - the test however is still to come and many of the squad and coaching staff are untried in the championship.

    The Everton guy instead of Bartley,maybe a little worse,Alioski instead of Dallas,improvement,Saiz instead of Mowatt improvement,Roof coming into his own now,better than he was last season,and much stronger squad than last season.Should go close to automatic places IMO,but lets wait and see.
