Our travelling circus rolls into Shanghai for the second round of this exciting championship, looking for a tight fought race. Unfortunately the 3 week bender to celebrate El_Bando's win has meant the entire grid have rocked up a day late to China, having missed FP1 and FP2 due to immense hangovers. Nevertheless, everyone has made it, ready to do battle once again. Last time out in Malaysia, there was early drama after reigning world champion RoadRunner was disqualified for a jump start. If paddock rumours are to be believed, the Lotus team are suffering teething problems with an illegal traction control unit, which the notFIA have been unable to detect. The system appears to have worked very well for El_Bando however, as he romped home to a clear win. Paco Montoya kept up with the Lotus for much of the race, but the Ferrari driver had to settle for second place after a poor pit-stop. Making up the podium was Jonnybaws, with the resident artist taking a well-deserved debut podium for the newly formed Force India outfit. Drivers Championship. 1. El_Bando 25 2. Paco Montoya 18 3. The race will start when I put "Finish" somewhere in the Chat & Predictions Thread. Anybody jump starting will be disqualified.
McLaren have arrived with new bodywork in China so I'm very hopeful for a podium please log in to view this image
I saw "finish" written in the tags in the C&P but it didn't say who posted it. But it popped up around the time DHC came on.
Yes, we have our first 2 finishers! I'm presuming you noticed it in the tags, and I didn't slip up somewhere? I was debating whether to just do it and not post, but that would perhaps have been too harsh.
Oh yes, a seventh win! And three straight for Lotus! We're back in business! Wow, we're miles in front.
