I was bored so made mischief.

We are 12 races into the season and keen followers of maths will know that if you split that into 3 race chunks you get 4 quarters of the season so far.

What did I learn from this, well...
    • Vettel's worst quarter is better than any of the top 6's best quarter
    • 4 drivers best quarters are the last 3 races
    • Kimi's best quarter were races 1-3
    • Nico's best quarter was races 7-9
    • Webber has improved in every quarter
    • Alonso's and Hamilton's forms have very similar trends
    • Kimi is just getting worse

So to summarise, its Vettels to lose:

Alonso and Hamilton lost most ground in the 2nd quarter? Weirdly wasn't that when their cars were coming good?

For Hamilton the 2nd quarter had the very hot races mixed with a Mercedes that hated its tyres. I think Alonso just generally struggled at Bahrain and Monaco.

Kimi's decline is worrying, is his mind wandering or is it just the car not keeping up with the others?
I think Vettels consistency mixed with a improving Webber is putting the final nails in the coffin of the 2013 championship.
